s where in VR the steering wheel and driver arms etc only move a fraction of your actual wheel rotation and I just found it too hard to s really off-putting. 'The Dirt Rally bug btw - is that where the game forgets your settings?' The Dirt Rally bug btw - is that where the game forgets your settings? In the meantime yeah if you're also using Win7, I'd be curious to try your settings & see if that fixes it.
If that works, I'll probably get a second SSD and install Win10 in a dual boot config alongside Win7 and gradually transition across from there. The next thing I'll try then is to temporarily install the gfx card in my secondary PC which did get the Win10 update. It's interesting at least to hear that others have had issues with running VR in Win7. Also I'd heard stories of forced windows updates interfering with a game in the middle of a race, so having the control to suppress that was nice. I've had this setup now for a while and everything worked just fine so I resisted the swap to Win10 when it was free as I just didn't see the point at the time of going through the process of reinstalling everything from scratch and starting again. I disabled Stereoscopic 3D in the control panel in case that interfered with the Rift (also unplugged the 3D USB transmitter), but again no joy. Yep, both sims work flawlessly on a normal screen including with 3D Vision. Likewise I tend not to use the optimised settings, but literally in this case I've just been trying everything I can think of (and hoping there's something I've missed that works  ). Any help would be hugely appreciated as I bought the Rift primarily for these games. Nothing so far has worked! Could it be a Windows 7 issue perhaps? Nobody else I've spoken to seems to have had this issue. Corsair Link MSI Afterburner Avast A/V, Malware Bytes, etc disabling everything I could think of, e.g.classic Oculus Home as well as the new Oculus Dash.optimised both games for VR using Geforce Experience.unplugging all unnecessary USB items, just leaving mouse and keyboard (and rift items of course) attached.

I AC, when I click 'Start' from the launcher (either the generic one or Content Manager), the game starts to launch but quits back immediately to the launcher menu.
